Hannah Gaskill

Hannah Gaskill covered the Maryland General Assembly, governor, executive branch agencies and elections for The Baltimore Sun. An Eastern Shore native, Hannah left Maryland to study visual art at Carnegie Mellon University, where she received a bachelors of fine arts degree. She later returned to the state to continue her studies at the University of Maryland, where she graduated with a master’s of journalism degree in 2019. Shortly thereafter, Hannah began her foray into politics journalism covering the governor and General Assembly at Maryland Matters. She enjoys cooking, painting and watching documentaries.
