President Donald Trump is broken. He can’t change.

I read with great interest Bill Kennedy’s recent letter to the editor, “Trump is hater in chief” (Oct. 15), in which he discusses hate speech in America and Trump’s prominent role in all the hate.

Yet at one point he asserts, “Trump needs to rise above the fray and act more presidential…” It’s not going to happen. It’s never going to happen. It would require self-reflection and honesty. He is completely devoid of both attributes.

When will we stop saying, “Everything in this country would be fine if he [Trump] would just act differently?” Our course of action is not to reason with Trump or negotiate. Our course of action is to oppose him and remove him, legally, as soon as possible.
