The National Aquarium in Baltimore will be closed until Saturday because of an electrical issue with its facility, a spokesperson said Thursday.
“Due to an ongoing electrical outage in our Pier 3 building, the National Aquarium will remain closed today and Friday, 10/17/25. Decisions regarding extended closures will be made and announced online,” the spokesperson said in a statement to The Baltimore Sun.
The aquarium referenced a “facilities-related issue” on its website earlier Thursday, adding: “Unfortunately, we are unable to welcome guests while we resolve this situation.”
